What Does Lingam Mean?

The Sanskrit word for the male sexual organ (penis or "cock") is Lingam and is loosely translated as "Wand of Light."

In Tantra or Sacred Sexuality, the Lingam is respectfully viewed and honoured, that channels creative energy and pleasure.
